Spring flower surprise on the hill fort.

A walk over the ancient hill fort just North of Oswestry, I discovered a carpet of early spring flowers which dazzled in the morning light. Other paintings in this series focused on the panoramic views from the site but I had to try and capture my delight and the glow from these treasures discovered growing next to one of the footpaths that wind up the hill fort.
